Well, I just logged my 7th EXHIBITORLIVE Show in the trade show books. For my colleague, Kelly Allen, this was her first trade show experience. The show hosts 250 of the industry’s top suppliers connecting with 5,000 trade show exhibit and corporate event marketers. The thought of her first show made me pause for a moment and think back to my first time. It was a little overwhelming – big towering exhibits, tons of people meandering about and all the conversations. It was a fast paced, exhausting couple of days, but an amazing experience none the less. There was oodles of information to take in, innovative products to discover and so many new people to meet. It’s not an experience you can have anywhere else…it truly is special and one of a kind. Trade shows are a chance to learn and even change your perception a bit.
Even though I have been several times, this year was no exception to that first-time experience. I saw lots of great products, got to catch up with some of our usual vendors, met a few new faces and even enjoyed a motivating breakfast. Can’t wait to put my new found knowledge and inspiration to good use!
